- Pattern family and timeframe
- Structure context (prior impulse, level, session)
- Confirmation checklist score (0–5)
- Invalidation level and reason
- Execution notes separate from the thesis
- Post-trade: thesis correct / execution correct
Weekly review
Once a week, sort trades by confirmation score. If high-score ideas still lose, study risk and timing. If low-score ideas dominate the journal, recognition discipline is the bottleneck — not the market.
